Hi there! Teaching today is truly challenging. We are being shushed, shunned, and suppressed. YET, we must not stand down, but stand boldly in our faith. We need to recognize that our own faith and the faith of others in teaching is critically important.
No matter the time, the place, or learner we are to reach… our greatest teacher has taught us to lead by our faith! This site is our space to support, encourage, pray, and empower one another with God’s Truth. It is a place where we can fellowship with others who have Faith in Teaching! God bless!
…So, where did this all come from?
Faith in Teaching is an outreach plan that I prayed about for several years. During those transformative times life I began to realize what my new purpose was going to become. I had to step away from my dream career in education due to illness. During that time, I reflected on my own teaching experiences, journaled, meditated in prayer, and continued to observe our educational system fracture. God revealed to me that I was being called to do something that would impact the world through His Word and my experiences in education. I chose to follow God’s Will for me, which brings me to this moment in time. Faith in Teaching has to happen!!
Each of us teaches others in some way in our choice of words and our actions. Those who have been called to teach our youth and young adults have an extra special role! I pray you make the choice to join in the movement that will transform each one of us to have faith in teaching! Be a prayer warrior, support our cause, share our mission, become a teacher if God calls you! There is a job for each one of us as we move forward with this endeavor.
We will be met with resistance, but we will not lose faith… for our GREATEST teacher walks on water!
